I'VE GOT JOY CHORUS I've Got Joy, real joy, down in my soul I've Got Joy here from my head down to my toes With Jesus living here in me, I'm as glad as I can be 'Cause I've got joy down in my soul Verse When I was just a little child, you see We went to Sunday School where we would read Stories from the Bible's pages 'bout the blessed Rock of Ages, Who proved His love for all at Calvary It was there He gave His life unselfishly That we might live with Him eternally When I made Him my soul's choice, deep inside my heart rejoiced As Jesus came to live inside of me CHORUS I've Got Joy, real joy, down in my soul I've Got Joy here from my head down to my toes With Jesus living here in me, I'm as glad as I can be 'Cause I've got joy down in my soul Verse The devil tries to get me down, you see But he can't steal this joy God's given me I say, "Satan get away, in Jesus' precious name" And then he has no choice but turn and leave CHORUS I've Got Joy, real joy, down in my soul I've Got Joy here from my head down to my toes With Jesus living here in me, I'm as glad as I can be 'Cause I've got joy down in my soul Bridge If you want this joy of which I sing Just give your heart to Jesus Christ the King You'll find He can deliver you from anything you're going through You'll want to join along with me and sing CHORUS I've Got Joy, real joy, down in my soul I've Got Joy here from my head down to my toes With Jesus living here in me, I'm as glad as I can be 'Cause I've got joy down in my soul ©2009 Kenneth D.
