(Buck Moore - Jim Mundy) Packed up my toolbox picked up my lunchbox today I am through I just can't fight it and if they don't like they know what they can do Picked up my paycheck it's rainin' down my neck but that's OK Things will get better I'm spendin' the winter down Mexico way. Tropical nights stars shining bright Rum and tequila sweet senorita to love every night Sunshiny days sleep in the shade Time doesn't matter I'm spending the winter down Mexico way. --- Instrumental --- I'll work when I have to love when I want to and go where I want Make a few pesos and in a day or so it will all be gone Makin' cantinas drinkin' sangria while the guitars play It's gonna be better I'm spendin' the winter down Mexico way. Tropical nights stars shining bright Rum and tequila sweet senorita to love every night Sunshiny days sleep in the shade Time doesn't matter I'm spending the winter down Mexico way... |
