I heard her drowning in a shallow pool
Did I bother to save her you say?
I would've tried but the effort was all in vain
They said she died before I awoke
When the blood cleared from the way
I awoke to the scream of a drowning queen
Her name was Alexandra
And she became a nightmare

Stumbling through the park
In the dead of the night I saw her ghost
They said I was drunk or high
I know what I saw, I saw what I know
Years later out on the oceans
The deep black seas called to me
Her name was Alexandra
She was going to be the death of me

The siren's call was oh so soothing
