i took a minute just to stop on by
down at the bar to see some friends of mine
i had promised myself that tonight i'll take it easy

the boys were rocking, chugging 'em down
here comes a waitress so we order a round
i'll just stay for one beer ya tonight i'll take it easy

here we go again
down that road again
seems like every drink
seems to change a dink
to an asshole

8,9, or 10, its my round again
me and my friends in the perma grins
someone pours me a shot and thats when things got real crazy

i forget what i did
cause the shape i was in
made a hole in my head
where my brain used to been
and i think theres a link
every drink turns a dink
to an asshole

here we go again
down that road again
seems like every drink
seems to change a dink
to an asshole

(here we go agian)
i forget what i did
cause the shape i was in
(down that road agian)
made a hole in my head
where my brain used to been
(seems like every drink seems to change a dink to an asshole)
and i think theres a link
every drink turns a dink
to an asshole

[instrumental]

in the morning i open my eye
my head is pounding and i feel i could die
and i promise myself that tonight i'll take it easy

i forget what i did
cause the shape i was in
made a hole in my head
where my brian used to been
and i think theres a link
every drink turns a dink
to an asshole

here we go again
down that road again
seems like every drink
seems to change a dink
to an asshole

(here we go agian)
i forget what i did
cause the shape i was in
(down that road agian)
made a hole in my head
where my brain used to be
(seems like every drink seems to change a dink to an asshole)
and i think theres a link
every drink turns a dink
to an asshole
