You call me up when there's no one else
You've always been that way
I'm wise to you, I know it's true
You save me for a rainy day.

Now if things go wrong, I'm right on hand
I'm not the type to stray
but I'm not strong, I'll go along
Save me for a rainy day.

When ever the sun, is shining and clear
You don't think of me at all
You know that I'll be
Waiting right here when the rains begin to fall.

So when dark clouds start to fall
I'll just wait in and pray
That the rain will pour, and bring you to my door
I'll be ready any rainy day.

Now the rain is gonna pour, and bring you to my door
I'll be ready any rainy day...
