Beyond the storm must come the rainbow
Beyond the darkness the light must glow
Beyond the shadow the sun will shine
And someday your heart will be mine.

Other arms have tried me before your own
And they have convicted me in shame
But someday the clouds of gossip will fade away
And you will see that I was not to blame.

Beyond the storm must come the rainbow
Beyond the darkness the light must glow
Beyond the shadow the sun will shine
And someday your heart will be mine.

Every cloud must have a silver lining
And surely this is through with you and I
Forget the words that falsely accused my heart
Ket them fade like colors in the sky.

Beyond the storm must come the rainbow
Beyond the darkness the light must glow
Beyond the shadow the sun will shine
And someday your heart will be mine...
