A loud lawn mower in a lawn somewhere brings a mem'ry to my ear
And from the past I smell the grass and see the green so clear

Spiders spin and pipers play

When the lawns are mowed and the laundry's stowed
And the dusk is drawing near
We'll light the torches on our porches and drink ourselves a beer
