He was a first class star with memories of fame
In mind he never left the game
He'd been around the world and people knew his trade
In mind his light will never fade

Spotlight, spotlight here I am
Hard to stay in focus
Spotlight, spotlight here I am
Hard to stay in focus

Now is a different time with people moving on
Forgetting his once famous song
He made a great carreer success was crystal clear
With failure as the greatest fear

Spotlight, spotlight here I am
Hard to stay in focus
Spotlight, spotlight here I am
Hard to stay in focus
