(Marge Barton)

Mister postman gee I'm glad you came my way
Please take back this letter that you brought me yesterday
It's my name but you see you've got to find
That other girl in town whose name's the same as mine.

Yes, Mister postman it was opened by mistake
I read enough to know that someone's heart is gonna break
Her love is lost in each and every line
It's for a girl in town whose name's the same as mine.

Mister postman I know you're not to blame
Anyone could make the same mistake it's such a common name.

I guess you'd call it a strange coincidence
That somene's name is spelled the same at a different residence
Drop this letter off farther down the line
To that girl in town whose name's the same as mine.

There must be a girl in town whose name's the same as mine...
