I was hungry and you gave me food
Thirsty and you gave me drink
I was homeless and you took me in
You fed me with the bread of love
You let me drink the cup of peace
You gave me shelter in your joyful heart

Truly I say to you
Whatever you did unto one of the least
You did it to me

I was naked and you clothed me
Sick and you took care of me
In prison and you came to visit me
You clothed me with compassion
You healed me with your gentle touch
Your presence freed my chains of loneliness

This is Christ in distressing disguise.
We do it for Jesus.
