Another year comes to an end and with it a new trend.
Who will you be this time.
Ska, emo, or punk, straight edge or drunk.
When will you make up your mind?
Trade in your checkerboard pants and your new skankin'
dance, now draw x's on your hands.
Your'e defined by your clothes and attendance at shows.
Your identity's slippin' away.
There used to be something but now there is nothing
left of that person inside.
Everything that you've heard becomes your own word
as others keep changing your mind.
You try to deny you don't have your own mind.
But be careful, watch what you say 'cause it wont be
long for the next you is gone and another you is slippin' away.
