Shoot for the moon,.

Once upon a time ago
When I was feeling really low
I remember being told some good advice
If there's something that you really want
Go after it don't wait too long
You may look up and it'll be all gone
Time passing by,

Whatever it takes just do your best
Don't give up no matter what
Try again it's up to you
Live your dream
Whatever it takes just be yourself
Don't give up no matter what
Try again it's all up to you
It's your dream

(Shoot for the moon)
Hold on, hold on, hold on, 'Cause yeah
(Shoot for the moon)
Oh, oh, oooh

You'll find you'll hurry up to wait
Which leads you to procrastinate
When others say it's much too late
To better yourself

But if faith remains inside of you
You'll know exactly what to do
It's your dream you should see it through
Through to the end

Whatever it takes just be yourself, (chorus)

Nothing and no one is perfect at times
You'll find you may fail (no one is perfect)
Persistence and patience, belief in yourself, and you will prevail
Grab on to the brass ring and shoot for the stars, hold on to your dream
Never let go even though,
The journey is hard and dreary
Give it your everything with no excuse
Then ask yourself, what have you got to lose?

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,

Shoot for the moon
You never know
What have you got to lose?
