I sat alone this afternoon
I watched the summer sun go under the moon
I lay beneath a willow tree
I said a prayer tonight
that you'd come to me

I smiled upon the world I know
I held my breath, prepared myself to go cause

When you touch me I fall away
to the place where the sun meets the sea
I surrender my heart and soul
where I know you've been waiting for me

You play the strings of my heart
like a gypsy guitar from wherever you are
No matter how far you may be
where the sun meets the sea,
is where you will find me,
and I know that I've never been here before

I walked along a windy hill
I felt the seasons change it gave me a thrill
So I knelt down and touched the earth
I got a sense of what this life was worth

I smiled upon the world I know
I held my breath, prepared myself to go cause

When you touch me I fall away
to the place where the sun meets the sea
I surrender my heart and soul
where I know you've been waiting for me

You play the strings of my heart
like a gypsy guitar from wherever you are
No matter how far you may be
where the sun meets the sea,
is where you will find me,
and I know that I've never been here before

You play the strings of my heart
like a gypsy guitar from wherever you are
No matter how far you may be
where the sun meets the sea,
is where you will find me,
and I know that I've never been here before

When you touch me I fall away
to the place where the sun meets the sea
I surrender my heart and soul
where I know you've been waiting for me

You play the strings of my heart
like a gypsy guitar from wherever you are
No matter how far you may be
where the sun meets the sea,
is where you will find me,
and I know that I've never been here before
