Hey, let's pretend we never met
Like we ain't fallen in love yet
I will chase you 'round the kitchen
You can chase me 'round the bed

We will set the neighbors talkin'
With our hoopin' and our hollerin'
1, 2, 3, it's hide and seek
Go, I'll find you and you find me
Tag, you're it – pretend we never met

Hey, before our love life goes to snoring
Let's act like we're on our honeymoon
In an effort to avoid the boring
Babe I thought of something we can do

Oh, let's pretend we never met
Like we ain't fallen in love yet
I will chase you 'round the kitchen
You can chase me 'round the bed

We will set the neighbors talkin'
With our hoopin' and our hollerin'
1, 2, 3, it's hide and seek
Go, I'll find you and you find me
Tag, you're it – pretend we never met

Aye, what you gonna do when I close my eyes?
Aw, don't tell me, let it be a surprise
Old stuff like this is kinda frightening
But dang, it makes it so exciting

Oh, let's pretend we never met
Like we ain't fallen in love yet
I will chase you 'round the kitchen
You can chase me 'round the bed

We will set the neighbors talkin'
With our hoopin' and our hollerin'
1, 2, 3, it's hide and seek
Go, I'll find you and you find me
Tag, you're it – pretend we never met

1, 2, 3, it's hide and seek
Go, I'll find you and you find me
Tag, you're it – pretend we never met
