Well I didn't mean to call you so late honey

But I think I might've left the water running

Guess I been out too late with the boys

But I just had to hear your voice

Any excuse at all

Any excuse to call

I'm buyin' some time

Tryin' to find any way I can stall

Just seein' if you're okay

Thinkin' up things to say

Honey don't refuse me

I'm just usin' any excuse at all

Well I noticed your yard is overgrown

Maybe I should come by and mow your lawn

And that big old house could use a coat of paint

Honey what would the neighbors think

Any excuse at all baby

Any excuse to call

I'm buyin' some time

Tryin' to find any way I can stall

Just seein' if you're okay

And makin' up things to say

Honey don't refuse me

I'm just usin' any excuse at all

All right

Any excuse at all baby

Any excuse to call

I'm buyin' some time

Tryin' to find any way I can stall

Just seein' if you're okay

And thinkin' up things to say

Honey don't refuse me

I'm just usin' any excuse at all

Any excuse at all baby

Any excuse to call

I'm buyin' some time

Tryin' to find any way I can stall

Just seein' if you're okay

And thinkin' up things to say

Honey don't refuse me

I'm just usin' any excuse at all

Yeah
