Just like the days of Kent State
I can still hear the shots ringin',,, in my head
Just like they always do, they're killing again.
Up in the mountains of Ruby Ridge

Chorus:
I heard shots fired in the mountains of Ruby Ridge
I could hear their screams through the trees in the wind
Nightmares, and Thunder just don't compare
To the gunshots,
in the mountains,
of Ruby.......
Ruby Ridge

Verse:
Pointless violence again
Another lost soul of,,,,,, a innocent man
There's bloodlust in their eyes
I turn my head as, our freedom dies

Chorus:
I heard shots fired in the mountains of Ruby Ridge
I could hear their screams through the trees in the wind
Nightmares, and Thunder just don't compare
To the gunshots,
in the mountains,
of Ruby.......
Ruby Ridge

Verse:
Just like Kent State
Another mistake made,, made in vain
I can't surrender to their lies
I swallow my pride, as I cry

Chorus:
I heard shots fired in the mountains of Ruby Ridge
I could hear their screams through the trees in the wind
Nightmares, and Thunder just don't compare
To the gunshots,
in the mountains,
of Ruby.......
Ruby Ridge
