Take one last look at last week
Feel satisfied, but not dignified
Of what lies today
Dreaming in colours of confusion
Is the last thing I need

Your eyes take me back to the day
To that one time you took my breath away
October's not over
There's still glimmer in the sky
I hope this isn't for good
That we're saying goodbye

Feel this cool autumn chill
It's sending time away
And all the things I never got to say
A clear sky may be possible
In the season of today
But right now this heart is reckless
So here comes the rain

Your eyes take me back to the day
To that one time you took my breath away
October's not over
There's still glimmer in the sky
I hope this isn't for good
That we're saying goodbye

It's not going away this time
Locked in a memory
So easy to find
Standing under a falling sky
And all I need is you
And all I need is you

Your eyes take me back to the day
To that one time you took my breath away
October's not over
There's still glimmer in the sky
I hope this isn't for good
That we're saying goodbye

That we're saying goodbye
That we're saying goodbye
I'm sorry we're saying goodbye
I don't want to say goodbye
