I want to introduce myself to the ladies
And please don't be discouraged with my size
I'm as big as the last two boys you went with
About twice the love light shinin' in my eyes
I can double date, leave home, the other fellow
I don't like that competition hangin' 'round
So girls that's here for you I'm a pickin', singin', lovin' fool
Welcome to the round mound of sound
Oh, welcome to the round mound of sound
I'm overweight but I'm up to date
With the biggest heart in town
I can double date, leave home, the other fellow
I don't like that competition hangin' 'round
So girls that's here for you I'm a pickin', singin', lovin' fool
Welcome to the round mound of sound
My birthday is May twenty six and seven
When I was born I weighed twenty seven pounds
When the doctor brought me in to see my mama
Well, he said, "Welcome to the round mound of sound"
Oh, welcome to the round mound of sound
I'm overweight but I'm up to date
With the biggest heart in town
Oh, welcome to the round mound of sound
