Today, another Monday afternoon
I'm tired of working and it's raining
There's no kids outside, cause the TV guide
Has them all wrapped up in a sequel
You would never find this in summertime
Cause there's too many crazy adventures

Watching the tide pull it out again
Making faces in the clouds
Watching them change till they've blown away

And we're so busy turning life around
All the kids have tried playing games outside
But prefer to be under their blankets
