(verse)
There's a new trend in town,
Jump on the merry-go-around,
It's high on vitamin dance,
And you may even find romance,
It's very low in stress,
Just like a lover's caress,
It's the perfect workout as you play,
And it's recommended by doctor D.J.

(Repeat chorus twice)
There's a new dance, called the wild, wild cherry,
Do the new dance, called the wild, wild cherry,
A mix of disco'n tango, rhumba'n samba,
Ooh! Fruit of the gods,
Wild, Wild cherry.

(rap)
Wake up and dance, to free your mind,
Life is too short, so don't be blind,
Get up and dance, you will find,
Life pays you back, when you are kind.

Disco'n tango, rhumba'n samba,
Ooh! Fruit of the gods,
Wild, Wild cherry.

(repeat verse, chorus twice and rap)
