Follow now, o shepherds, rise up from your sleeping.
Angels far from here a blessed watch are keeping.
Look up, look up! A star shines in the heavens calling
us to come. Our holy King is given.

We must leave our flocks. The night is swiftly flying.
Trust a star to show us where the Child is lying.
Prepare a gift that we would place before Him.
We are humble shepherds, yet would we adore Him.

Look up, look up! A star shines in the heavens calling
us to come. Our holy King is given.

Can this be a King? His room is but a manger.
Humbly born is He, yet safe from earthly danger.
He is the King, Almighty pow'r possessing.
He is heaven's gift. This is the Christmas blessing.

Look up, look up! A star shines in the heavens calling
us to come. Our holy King is given.
