I want a Monday girl to get me through the week
I want a month end affair to get me what I need
I want a holiday to get me through the cold
I want a love to keep, to keep, to keep me everyday its all I say

I wait, I wait for your reaction
I try to make believe
I don't know what you don't wanna talk about
If all this starts a chain reaction
Nothing you can say can take away
What you won't ever talk about

I want a Friday friend to leave me riding high
I want the time to just fly by so I can take you home tonight
I want a double dare something to make you laugh
I want a girl to girl to keep, to keep, to keep me everyday and so I say

I wait, I wait for your reaction
I try to make believe
I don't know what you don't wanna talk about
If all this starts a chain reaction
Nothing you can say can take away
What you won't ever talk about
