In the summertime the sun don't shine
In the town we live in
I went around but still no sound
In the town and all around it's gloomy
Doo doo

Oh it's rain or shine so make up your mind
In the town we live
I went around but still no sound
In the town and all around it's gloomy
Doo doo oooh it's so gloomy doo doo

Oooh flowers should be blooming
Oooh but it's so gloomy

And my restless mind get's too much time to myself
It's summertime, come on take the sun off the shelf
'Cause it's too gloomy
Ooh well it's so gloomy

Oooh flowers should be blooming
Oooh but it's so gloomy
Well it's so gloomy
