You took me out on a date

I said I wouldnÂ't out too late

Agreed to let you just hold my hand

I drew a line in the sand

You tried to kiss me in your car

I warned you to stay where you are

Definitely didnÂ't want no man

At least that was the plan

At least that was the plan

Well IÂ'm about to drop my fifth child

Other four running wild

Chewing gum in her hair

Fire started over there

TheyÂ're all yelling and IÂ'm thinking to myself

I only meant to hold your hand

At least that was the plan

Now theyÂ're running with scissors and theyÂ're falling out of trees

I kiss and make better all the skinned up knees

Uh ah honey donÂ't paint the cat she wonÂ't look good like that

And IÂ'm climbing over words that they wrote on the wall

Number two poked three right in the eyeball

Cool, calm, collected thatÂ's what I am

At least that was the plan

At least that was the plan

Well IÂ'm about to drop my fifth child

Other four running wild

Chewing gum in her hair

Fire started over there

TheyÂ're all yelling and IÂ'm thinking to myself

I only meant to hold your hand

At least that was the plan

Solo

You know I love my baby theyÂ're my family

But on the days they get the best of me

I carry on the best I can

Now they finish their dinner and itÂ's up the stairs

I tuck them into bed and then we say our prayers

I thank God it isnÂ't in my hands

I guess that was the plan

I guess that was the plan
