The leaves
The leaves
The leaves upon the tree
Are always watching me.
The wind blows them through the air.
They never cease to stare.

When I walk on a sidewalk,
Drive on a road,
Jog in the gym,
Walk through the middle of a crowded street,

I get peace from the leaves
Peace from the trees
Peace from the chlorophyll, the oxygen
That's clogging my arteries.

Oh wait,
It's helping me breathe.
It's helping me breathe.
It's helping me breathe.

So next time you're outside,
Remember, those trees, they're still alive.
They'll probably smile at you.
You should probably smile too.
