Happy New Love
Happy true love
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh happy new love
Ooh, ooh, oo-oo-ooh

You put me down for someone new
After I gave my heart to you
You expect to tease that caught my eyes
Then a smile in your face saying thanks and goodbye
Come along came a new love
Ooh, ooh, oo-oo-ooh
Happy New Love

After I gave my heart away
You confessed that all you did was play
I was took and he's the sweet
And when I lost to you, I struck it rich
Come along came a new love
Ooh, ooh, oo-oo-ooh
Happy New Love

I must admit you had me fooled
'Cause at the same time I was being schooled
But when I fail, you had made me pass
And now I cede at the top of the class
Oh, yeah
Top of the class, oh

Of all aquintance, I found a new love
Happy New Love
Happy true love
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, Happy New Love
Ooh, ooh, oo-oo-ooh, happy true love
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, Happy New Love
When I lost to you, I struck it rich
Come along came a new love
Ooh, ooh, oo-oo-ooh, brand new love

I don't need you no more 'cause
Oh yeah, I found a love
He's just for me, oh yeah
He's my kind of man, oh...
