Another day, another story for the press
Of all the pain around the world
Another claim, that there will be peace and happiness
But all have questions no answers

So some may say if we could all be united
We could achieve peace on our own
But if refuse to acknowledge a sovereign God
Peace will leave us all alone

And we cry
Peace on earth
Peace on earth

Chorus:
But there will be no peace as long as we
Fail to seek God's grace
And there will be no peace as long as we
Fail to seek His face

We feel the need to put our trust in family
And in the people we call friends
Or government, they hope and assurance
But can we put faith in humans

And we cry
Peace on earth
Peace on earth

No peace, no peace, no peace as long as we
Fail to seek His face
