Everyday has a yesterday, but today I felt okay
And I believed this was my lucky day, when I was
…on my way…

In my car, had to hurry up, Mr Johnson's promoting me
But I heard the sound of breaking bones
When Mr Johnson was under my car

It was just my luck
Just my luck, just my luck
It was my Lucky Day…

I left the Bus and was coming home, when I met my wife at the door
She was leaving me for another man, who was
…my very best friend…
So ends my Lucky Day
With dreams of yesterday
So ends every day
And I just have this to say:

It's just my luck
Just my luck, just my luck
It's my Lucky Day…
