please forgive them for they know not what they do

verse 1
starin at these 4walls, no way out this tragedy
what's broke can't be fixed it's just another casualty
another oh well, do it myself, and in actuality
said my loneliness once again has become a reality
oh i...i just want for once in my life... To find me some peace
so i can

chorus
escape...from all the evil thoughts running through my head
escape...time is running out i'm approaching my last breath
escape...from my own mind cause i know what's in my heart
feels like im suffocating, know i need a change
escape

verse 2
i'm so tired of drowning in people's broken promises
it seems the ones that u trust the most, devastate you & wear you thin
the folks who claim they got yo' back are the same ones
bouncin' when you outta cash
said my loneliness once again has become a reality
it could take a whole lifetime in search for a place
but the sense of emptiness inside's drivin' me insane

chorus
escape...from all the evil thoughts running through my head
escape...time is running out i'm approaching my last thread
escape...from my own mind cause i know what's in my heart
feels like im suffocating, know i need a change

just breathe yeah, just breathe yeah

bridge
my heart is crumbling
i'm picking up the pieces (i'm torn)
so much i've sacrificed for love
but sometimes you wanna lose yourself...inside

escape...from all the evil thoughts running through my head
escape...time is running out i'm approaching my last thread
escape...from my own mind cause i know what's in my heart
feels like im suffocating, know i need a change
escape...from all the evil thoughts running through my head
escape...time is running out i'm approaching my last breath
escape...from my own mind cause i know what's in my heart
feels like i'm suffocating, know i need a change
escape
