I look into the sky my strength comes from the light that ends the night.
These tears will wash away as fast as they came flooding through my eyes.
Ashes fill the air, I gasp for breath, a whimper's all they hear,
The city's laid to rest, the heart of man can't give into his fears.
The city waits alone for living breathing love to call it's own.
Sleeping endlessly, forgiving for what you have done to me.
Though this will take some time we're stronger in the end.
