The sun don't care what it shines on,
The wind don't care where it blows.
The leaves don't care where they're falling,
Love don't care where it grows . . .

Walk into a crowd of strangers,
You're the one nobody knows,
Soon you're dancin' with a stranger,
Love don't care where it grows . . .

Like a pearl in the ocean,
Like a fire on the snow,
Like a flower on the burning desert sand,
Love don't care where it grows . . .

You will always find someone,
Everywhere you chance to go,
Like a pearl in the ocean,
Love don't care where it grows . . .

< repeat second verse >

Like a pearl in the ocean,
Like a fire on the snow,
Like a flower on the burning desert sand,
Love don't care where it grows . . .

You will always find someone,
No matter where you go,
Like a pearl in the ocean,
Love don't care where it grows . . .

Love don't care where it grows . . .
