Rays of the Rising Sun
Denise Johnson

1. Out of darkness came forth
A blinding light
Menacing in the sky
Like a burning flame.
We got on our knees;
We began to pray.
2. We worship You,
We pray to You,
Oh, we praise You.
3. Look into the rays of the rising sun;
Here they come, one by one.
Look into the rays of the rising sun;
Here they come, one by one.
Look into the rays, the rays?
4. Salvation has come;
We have found the One
We can trust upon,
Bringing peace and love
That caresses me,
Sets my spirit free.
5. [2 & 3]
6. Ooh, oh, ooh, hey,
Ooh, hey, oh, hey.
7. [2 & 3]
8. Look into the rays of the rising sun.
[Here they come]
Ooh, yeah.
[Look into the rays of the rising sun]
Look into, look into, yay-ayy,
[Look into the rays]
The rays of the sun, oh yeah.
[Look into the rays]
Look into the rays of the sun?
