If stars could be, as bright as you,
I'd never see, or know what to do.
I would be a pilot, and fly away any distress,

From the streams through the hallway, and the sidewalks like rivers outside, we'd sail.
We could float away everyday, instead of saying we tried, and failed.

I stepped into the hallway, but stepped out of the light.
and I failed to talk to you friday, I failed again last night.
When the sun is engulfed in rain, and the clouds fill the sky,
I'll scream out your name, and all doubts will die.

If the sun'll shine again, it means I made you smile.
If you're smile is to hard to win, it'll stay cloudy for awhile.

I move too slow, I fly too slow,
if I was a bird though, I'd fly through your window,
and sing you a song, and lift your heart,
while I'll be by your side where I belong, and where we're not apart.
