My heart stops every time the puck drops
But I come alive
My Paulette do you call me at all
You can spare you the dime
Unless you know about Gordy and the 52/40 night
Don't you call me at all
Not on a Saturday night
It Saturday, Saturday, Saturday
Saturday night
In my dreams the Nordics get back the team
And win the cup in twenty-seventeen
When Aprils here gonna grow our beards
And the neighbours won't like
That its week night every night
Any night is Saturday night
When McCarty got his hat trick
On Patrick, it was Saturday night
When sittler scored 10 Dave Reece
Never played again
On a saturady night
I got my first kiss right on my girsl lips
I knew it was right
Behind centennial arenas
On a cold dark Saturday night
Saturday, Saturday, Saturday

Saturday night
I dream the jets would get back the team
And look ma they got back the team
When April is here were gonna grow our beards
And the neighbours won't like
That is week night every night
Any night is Saturday night
*Saturday night*
Ooooooo
*Saturday night*
I remember it well
It was cold as hell
And you were looking real nice
See I was working the arena
And I grew a little every time
I seen you babe
We had everything to gain
Nothing to loose
Nothing to prove
Oh id seen the light
If you wanna get that love
Make it week night every night
Any night is Saturday night
week night every night
Any night is Saturday night
