LIKE REFUGEES
Two young lovers at the crack of dawn
Looking for a place to sleep
They've been driving all night long
Got a bag full of money in the back seat
Checking in at a cheap motel
Somewhere around Sacramento
Doesn't take long before they head
Towards the borderline of Mexico
Like refugees
They`re on the run
Robbed a bank
Up in Eugene Oregon
They can feel the breeze
And the sun
In a stolen convertible
Mustang `71
No one thought they would make it through
The police trap near Pasadena
But somehow the police got fooled
By the lovers from Columbia
A radio host wished them all the best
From a live show down in San Diego
It might have brought luck cause they finally got
Across the borderline of Mexico
Like refugees
They`re on the run
Robbed a bank
Up in Eugene Oregon
They can feel the breeze
And the sun
In a stolen convertible
Mustang `71
