I don't know you very well
so I don't know if I should tell you the way I feel
but if you were to ask now you've put me to the task
to tell you all now you've heard my story you might
of found it kind of boring but you asked for it

Chorus:
I know now…
how to tell you now…
you might not like it…
but you asked for it

At first you didn't like it
now you've decided to try it
and you like it more you decided to stick with it
and you still won't admit it that you love god

Chorus:

You know now…
to tell others now…
they might not like it…
but make them ask for it

Sometimes your message won't be that effective
as you planed it to be

Please don't get discouraged
you've gained a little more courage to share more

Chorus:

You know now…
to tell others now…
they might not like it…
but make them ask for it
